Belly Dance...

One of the oldest dance artforms known to man/woman.  Some believe the movements were to strengthen the abdominal muscles in preparation for childbrith.  Some believe it's as old as the Acient Egyptian Pyramids.  Some believe it's a dance for women, by women, handed down generation after generation.  I believe it's the most natural form of dance for the human body.  Belly Dance teaches you body isolation movements that you then layer upon other isolated body movements then layered upon traveling steps, all while playing finger cymbals (zills/zagat) or dancing with a veil.  Think all that is easy?  Come try a class and see for yourself.  ;)~

Belly Dance is for all ages, sizes, abilities or beginners.  No prior dance experience is necessary to discover the art of Belly Dance.  I do requre the minimum age of 10 to enroll in my beginning class.  I do offer children's parties for younger aged participants.  Nobody is too old to learn to dance.  I have had 4 generations in the same class and it was a wonderful experience for all.  Please contact me for more information.
